Due growth an experienced Claims Technician is required to join a Subsidence Team where you will provide Technical Building claims Solutions and provide Technical Support to a team of Surveyors and a Claims Management Team. Main duties and responsibilities will be to work as part of a remote working desk-based team to drive subsidence claims towards settlement and will include: Communicating with customers, contractors and insurer clients over the telephone, email and in writing Managing third party companies to achieve vegetation removal and drain repairs to mitigate the cause of subsidence damage Updating and creating building repair scopes using in-house schedule of rates Assessing contractor estimates Negotiating cash settlements for repairs with policyholders Managing panel contractors, controlling repair schedules and costs Settling claims under delegated authority .
