An experienced Chartered Building Surveyor is required to join a Chartered Building Surveying Practice offering a range of services to customers across the commercial, private and public sectors with Insurance reinstatement, building design, property development and building services working across the UK operating from offices within the London, Southeast, Midlands and Northwest areas.  Due to an enviable reputation leading to an increase in business and new clients, this experienced Surveying Practice are looking to strengthen their already strong professional team where you will work from your home-base or work hybrid from their London office, all depending on your individual circumstances, and either is offered as they have a flexible working approach.

Due growth an experienced Claims Technician is required to join a Subsidence Team where you will provide Technical Building claims Solutions and provide Technical Support to a team of Surveyors and a Claims Management Team.  Main duties and responsibilities will be to work as part of a remote working desk-based team to drive subsidence claims towards settlement and will include: Communicating with customers, contractors and insurer clients over the telephone, email and in writing Managing third party companies to achieve vegetation removal and drain repairs to mitigate the cause of subsidence damage Updating and creating building repair scopes using in-house schedule of rates Assessing contractor estimates Negotiating cash settlements for repairs with policyholders Managing panel contractors, controlling repair schedules and costs Settling claims under delegated authority   .
