EXTERNAL MOTOR ENGINEER who has worked within the insurance industry for the last 18 years. Currently working for a major insurer providing technical services and strategic insight to the claims and development teams. Carries out physical vehicle damage inspections, including fraud and staged incidents, keeps abreast of vehicle technical developments. Cost control. Negotiates with customers and suppliers both face to face and remotely. Carries out audits of suppliers, competitors and colleagues. Supplies audit feedback to the development team including operational recommendations. Trains colleagues in the use of new software and procedures.
