Excellent opportunity - Business Development Manager - home-based, covering the North West.
Key responsibities - Lead the growth of Commercial and HNW insurance business for a panel of broker relationships and work closely with all functions to support the delivery of the mid-market, specialisms, SME, HNW and schemes business plans for broker customers.
Strategic focus - Develop overview of the Broker's business/plans to deliver products and solutions and develop joint business plans and mobilising actions to deliver that plan.
People leadership - Achieve the sales plan/targets/action plans, take ownership of personal development, build/maintain strong senior stakeholder relationships to ensure personal credibility with key decision makers and deploy effective customer account pipeline.
Customer experience - deployed on strategic development and operational sales responsibility for panel customers, achieve principals of TCF, provide first class customer service (building company reputation), maintain understanding of competitors, deliver agreed sales activity levels, manage tenders and deals and support product launches.
Experience and knowledge - track record of sales and relationship development in the Commercial and HNW insurance market, strong knowledge of the intermediated C&HNW customer base and markets and a reputation for consistent delivery of excellent service to brokers and customers.
Qualifications - ACII level of study or higher.
Skills/Capabilities - proven ability to deliver sales plan goals, targets and action plans, build/maintain relationships, sound project management and business planning capability and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
