The role will involve compiling, processing and recording information relating to potential new claims, liaising with brokers, policyholders and third parties to ensure the facts of the claim are established in accordance with policies, procedures, regulatory requirements. You will Investigate, assess and evaluate claims, within limits of authority applying criteria to prevent loss and fraud and appointing suppliers and experts as required, updating relevant parties and meeting customer service standards.
Making and communicating decisions regarding policy cover, liability and quantum in line with policies, procedures, regulatory requirements to ensure a fair outcome for members. Building and maintaining relationships with underwriting, intermediaries, other departments, partners, third parties to ensure the effective delivery of objectives and first class customer service. To identify, resolve and escalate complaints and breaches in accordance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will have experience of handling personal injury claims from within an insurance or legal environment. Additionally experience of working in a customer facing role is needed. Ideally 5 GCSE's including Maths and English (or equivalent).
