Liability / Casualty Adjuster – Yorkshire / North East - up to £45k per annum, Home or Office based, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, bonus, car mileage

Ambitious firm of Solicitors seeks to expand its loss adjusting operation through the appointment of an experienced Liability / Casualty adjuster in a traditional external investigate and report role. You will work from home and/or either the Leeds office and operate throughout the North East/Yorkshire handling 90% Commercial Personal injury investigations in respect of both EL and PL. You will work for a wide range of insurer principals whilst also dealing with internal referrals.

Key responsibilities:

Proactively manage individual claims through to closure
Investigate the necessary level of expertise required for each claims
Attend site visits to assess liability and gather evidence
Handle Casualty claims working with a wide range of Industries
Liaise with all relevant parties throughout the lifecycle of the claims
Ensure all claims files are managed compliantly and updated correctly

Applicant Requirements

About you:

Strong technical knowledge of personal injury EL/PL/Casualty investigation work, from either an insurer or loss adjusting perspective.
External Claims Investigation experience attending site visits
Be comfortable working in an unsupervised manner and confident that you can deal with the full range of risks.
Degree and/or professional qualifications through ACII would be preferred but are not essential.
