Synopsis
A new vacancy has arisen within an international insurance group in Birmingham for a Senior Development Executive. You must have relevant experience and have progression towards the ACII qualification.

Job Profile
A new vacancy has arisen for a Senior Development Executive to join a successful international insurance group in their Birmingham Regional Office. You will be working closely with the Regional Underwriting team, to develop and manage profitable growth of commercial business within the Region and any associated designated geographical area and provide effective support for other departments as necessary. You will be responsible for promoting the company's distribution strategy and philosophy so as to maximise the opportunities for growth and profit of the commercial business by regular visits to Brokers' premises. You will manage partnerships with key brokers to ensure achievement of agreed business targets. To take responsibility for management of nominated key brokers as required. You will attend meetings, corporate functions and seminars as required. You will act as an integral part of the Regional, National and Corporate team.

Applicant Requirements
Applicants applying for this vacancy must have experience of working at this level already in the Midlands and the South West region and ideally be an established name within the region. You will be required to maintain and establish relationships at director level with major brokers as well as with business staff at all levels. You will ideally be educated to degree level and hold, or have significant progression towards, ACII qualification. You must be a self-starter who can also function well as part of a team and capable of forming excellent relationships within the organisation. You must have excellent communications and IT skills.
